The National Economic Education Trust (NEET) was established in year 1991 with the sole purpose of providing higher quality education to economically disempowered South Africans across all academic spheres through strategic partnerships with reputable higher learning organizations and delivering high impact training programs aimed at addressing critical skills requirements in the ICT sector and curbing youth unemployment in South Africa.

To address skills gaps and provide training for skills that are in high demand, NEET has identified a need for training the unemployed youth in Forth Industrial Revolutions (4IR) skills and paying immediate attention to addressing Cybersecurity skills gaps, which will be carried out by NEET 4IR ACADEMY.

The key objective of the Academy is to provide aspiring students with next-generation Information and Communication Technology (ICT) knowledge, skills and relevant work experience. The ICT Academy aligns with NEET’s intention to provide the youth of South Africa with internationally recognized qualifications, industry aligned skills and the need to address skills gaps and build a strong foundation for future employment.
